How to manually backup your server
This article assumes you have connected using FTP for TCAdmin games or File Explorer (For Space Engineers/Medieval Engineers).
Guidance on using FTP can be found here: How to Connect to the Server Using FTP (TCADMIN ONLY)
You can also use the File Explorer in TCAdmin to achieve the backup to by Right Clicking and Compressing folders, then downloading the ZIP created.
Navigate to the folder /ShooterGame
You will see folder named: Saved
Drag this folder to a folder on your computer.
Once complete you can close the FTP as you have backed up your save data.
Navigate to the folder /ConanSandbox
You will see folder named: Saved
Drag this folder to a folder on your computer.
In the FTP you will see a folder called Mods. Open this and drag the Modlist.txt to your PC. It contains your mod load order and should be retained for future use.
Once complete you can close the FTP as you have backed up your save data.
Navigate to the root directory.
You will see folder named: Server and Oxide
Drag these folders to a folder on your computer. These contain all your saves/configs and Oxide related files.
Once complete you can close the FTP as you have backed up your save data.
Navigate to the root directory.
You will see folder named: 7dtdsaves
You will also see a folder called userdatafolder if using a RWG world.
Drag these folders to a folder on your computer.
Once complete you can close the FTP as you have backed up your save data.
Navigate to the root directory.
You will see folder named: Saves
Drag these folders to a folder on your computer. These contain all your saves/configs and Oxide related files.
Once complete you can close the FTP as you have backed up your save data.
(Optional) Backup any mod related configs.
Login to your control panel.
Click File Explorer
In this folder you will find a Saves folder and a config file SpaceEngineers-Dedicated.cfg
Note: If on TCAdmin the folder is in the /WORLDS/Save directory.
If you use Torch there will be other plugin.cfg files for you to download as well.
Select both and right click, download.
If your map size is large it will take some time, you can delete old backup files within the save folder to reduce the size prior to downloading if required.
Once complete you can close the browser.
