Spawning Items

To spawn items, you first need to get the item's ID. List of all item IDs can be found on here https://ark.gamepedia.com/Item_IDs.

| These commands get put into the console when connected to the server. You can access this pressing the Tab ↹ key.

The console command is this formatted like so:

GiveItemNum ITEMID QUANTITY QUALITY BLUEPRINT For example: cheat GiveItemNum 1 1 1 0 This will give you a simple pistol.

Important information regarding the numbers in the above example.

The first digit is the item ID.
Second digit is the quantity.
Third digit is the quality of the item you want to spawn.

**Example. ** GiveItemNum 1 1 10 0 Will give you an ascendant or master-craft pistol.

Fourth digit is wether you want the item to be a blueprint or not. Putting 0 means false, and 1 means true. Example. GiveItemNum 1 1 1 1 This command will give you a simple pistol blueprint.

Here are more examples to make it easier for you to understand: cheat giveitemnum 14 30 1 0 ---- This command will give you 30 cooked meat. cheat giveitemnum 120 100 1 0 ---- This command will give you 100 mejoberries. cheat giveitemnum 132 1 10 0 ---- This will you you an ascendant longneck rifle.

How to change the day and night cycle on your ARK server

Log in to the TCAdmin panel and go to your game servers dashboard.

| Click Game Services on the left hand side (you may need to expand "Game and Voice Management", then select the server you want to edit.

Click on Configuration Files
Click Configuration Editor for the GameUserSettings.ini file
In here you will be able to find the settings to do this:

You will need to change the value next to the above settings depending on what cycle you would like. (advice below)
Once set, click save and start the server

Server Settings Explained For Conan Exiles

This article is aimed at assisting you in setting your Conan Exiles server to your choosing.

Options highlighted in red are old settings, which may or may not work and will likely be removed by the devs in the future of Early acces.

Server Settings

General

Server Password - The server password can be changed here. Admin Password - This password gives administration rights.

Battleye enabled – This enables Battleye cheat protection on the server. Fun-com highly recommends this to avoid cheaters from affecting your game-play.

PvP Enabled- When this is flagged, Player vs Player is enabled on the server.

Community –--------> Selecting a community from the drop down list will affect how your server is filtered in the server list. Please set up your community responsibly, in order to help players find a server that matches their play-style.

Server Region – Selecting a server region will affect how your server is filtered in the list. Please select your region to help players find a server that is close to them. No Ownership – Flagging this means that the ownership rules on the server do no exist. This means that all players can loot all chests, use all machines, dismantle all buildings etc.

Can Damage Player Owned Structures ---–> If this is flagged, players can attack and destroy other player’s structures.

Enable Sandstorm – Flagging this allows sandstorms to spawn across the Exiled Lands.

This guide will help you understand the different Ark Events and how to enable them!

In ARK there are events of two types: Holiday Events and Miscellaneous Events. Both can consist of boosted rates, temporary or permanent content such as skins or unique dinos to the game. Some of these events are timed, while others can last indefinitely. These are the events you can force on for your server:

Holiday ARK Events

ARK: Winter Wonderland / Christmas Events -ActiveEvent=WinterWonderland
ARK: New Year's / New Years Events
ARK: Valentine's Day / Valentine Day Events

Connection Timeout when Connecting to a Modded ARK: Survival Evolved Server

Accepted Answer

When connecting to your own, or any ARK: Survival Evolved server that has mods installed, you may experience a **connection timeout. ** This is due to the mods downloading to your PC through Steam and the connection has timed out due to it taking to long. Generally a server with lots of large mods is where you notice this more.

If you check your Steam client you should still see the last mod downloading. Depending on the mod size you should wait for this to complete prior to re-attempting to join.

|| We always recommend downloading ALL mods prior to joining a modded server to prevent the issue completely.

To fix the issue:

We always recommend downloading ALL workshop mods for your server PRIOR to joining it.
Find each mod in the workshop directory in the Steam client from outside the game and install them.
Open the game and let the game complete installation. You can see all mods installing in the bottom right hand corner.

Installing 2 mods (Mod Name..)

Once all mods have completed install, join your server.

My server is not showing in the ARK: Survival Evolved server list

This issue does not prevent you from joining the game server, you will always be able to join via the Steam Server favourites. See here on how to do this.

If you do not see your server in Steam Server favourites, please contact us and we will be happy to investigate. Make sure you give the server enough time to start up fully before proceeding.

When do i know when the server has started fully?

Watch the "Memory" amount in the control panel, make sure Auto Refresh is ticked, the ram level will have usually stopped moving when its online, if its still increasing then its likely still starting up.
Check in Steam Favourites following this article, see if it shows up with the name displayed. If the slots are 0/0 or it shows as not responding, its likely still starting up.

| Startup can take a varying amount of time depending on how many mods you have, if the game server is on HDD, SSD or NVME disk, if other game servers are starting up at the same time, or if its starting up for the first time or just after an update.

So, why isn't my ARK: Survival Evolved game server showing up in the in-game list?
