How to backup and restore your Worlds (new)

Step one: Log in to your server's Multicraft panel and stop your server.

Stop Server

Step two: Delete all files in your server directory. This ensures that you do not end up with duplicate files. That ensures no conflict between old and new files. You can easily do this by dragging all your files (except the server.properties)and (backups) into a folder named "DELETE_ALL" or something similar to indicate it must go and restart your server at this time.

Step three: You will want to Navigate to Files > Backup.

Step five. On the Restore page, Look for the backup you would like to restore. A list with all the backups you've created will be shown on this page and you may have one or more listed depending on how often you've created backups. It is recommended to select the most recent working backup.

Step six. A pop-up warning will appear. Once you've read, understood this, and made sure that your server is stopped, click OK to begin the restoration process.

Step seven. Navigate to your server console and check for the progress of the backup restoration. Once it displays the message [Multicraft] Unpack done. The restoration is complete.

You can now start your server!

Backup through FTP

Step one: Log in to your server's Multicraft panel and stop your server.

Stop

Step Two. Using FileZilla or any FTP client of your choice, upload your locally stored backup into your server directory. For info on FileZilla you may click here:https://help.serverblend.com/en/article/how-to-connect-to-the-server-using-ftp-minecraft-1ifmm4/

Step three. As above, delete all files in your server directory. This ensures that you do not end up with duplicate files or conflicts between old and new files. You can do this by dragging all your files except (server.properties) and ( backups) into a folder named "DELETE_ALL" or something similar to indicate deletion and then restart your server.

Step four. In your Multicraft panel, check that your World is named correctly. Also that you have selected the correct JAR and version that matches the one used on your backup. Mismatching JAR files, versions and world names can cause issues loading your recently restored backup and may cause the files to be corrupt again.

Step Five. Once the upload is complete; and your world name, Jar and version have been double-checked as showing correctly, you can now start your server!
