ARK Errors: Mod Mismatch, Timeout, 70 Slots Email, Missing Modded Items

This article will help you, if you have experienced one or more of the following issues:

Mod Mismatch on server join
In the mod download log it shows a timeout.
Server stopped and received an email about the game server being set to 70 slots
Upon joining, you notice modded items are missing.

These are all related to the installation of Workshop mods, it happens because mods are either:

Not installed correctly

Haven't downloaded fully

This usually happens when large mods are installed, and due to their size timeout mid-download, and therefore are missing files, please see our article: Installing Large ARK: Survival Evolved Mods or Maps
