My Valheim server is not appearing in the community list ingame
When you open your Valheim game, you’ll notice that there are server listings when you select the “Join Game” tab. These are community servers.
Valheim will only list up to 5,000 servers, so servers that could appear on the server listings may not do so because there are too many servers to show and the steam servers only allow for so many servers to list per search.
The developers of Valheim are aware of this and until they implement a resolution this is outside any hosts control.
Because of this, we don’t recommend connecting to your server via the server listings, as this is an unreliable way of finding your server.
It is advised to use the Join IP button that allows you to enter your servers IP/Port to connect. Alternatively you can add your server to the Steam favorites browser.
