You can upload your local world to your Valheim server. This article will help to guide you on how to do this.

You can use the File Explorer or an FTP method to upload your local save file to the server.

Locate the save on your computer. It is usually located here: C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim

Connect to your server, using the FTP Connection or File Explorer.

Upload the worlds folder (character folder is not needed) to saves folder.

Be sure that your server is offline when uploading your saves






Go to your command line and ensure the world name is set correctly.




Start your server


If your savegame uses another name than “world”, don’t forget to set the name in the command line.
