How to generate a RWG (Random World Generation) world
This guide is to help assist you in changing your map on 7 Days to Die, specifically generating a new world using the servers map generator.
The images below are used with a random seed.
1, Log into your TCAdmin Control Panel: TCAdmin Control Panel
On the Control Panel, click the Config files.
Click on the Config Editor for the serveradmincustom.xml
Look for the [Game Settings] section.
Change the GameWorld to RWG in capitals.
Change the Game name to whatever you require it to be.
Set your Seed and Map sizes. No spaces are permitted in the seed and can be numbers/letters only.
Once you have set these, start your server. Depending on the world size the generation will take varied time to complete. An 8k map, generally takes up to 1 hour to generate. It should be allowed to complete to prevent issues. During generation you will be unable to join the server.
You will see many messages and such indicating generation in the logs. More info on these can be found here.
Once the server is online and generation has completed you will see the following in the logs.
