Creator Mode
Creator Mode allows players to spawn creatures, change the time of day, change the weather, hand out quests, and more while spectating other players. Creator Mode can be accessed by being a server admin or moderator or being given the Creator mode role permission on a server.
This game mode is a tool that players can use to interact with other players in real-time. A Creator Mode player will not play as a single dinosaur character, but act more like a dungeon master that can freely navigate the map, create and hand out quests on the fly, change the time of day and weather, spawn in creatures for players to interact with, place objects, take control of AI creatures to act out stories or narratives, and much more!
This game mode essentially puts a player into the role of a dungeon master typically found in tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons. It opens up a huge amount of possibilities for server owners to host their own events without having to learn to mod the game or work within the boundaries of the default game mode.
Using Creator Mode
Creator Mode can be accessed by being a server admin or moderator or being given the Creator mode role permission on a server.
Once you have access to creator mode, it can be opened by entering Spectator Mode, pressing TAB, and selecting "Creator Objects".
The person currently in creator mode has the option of showing up as a small flying creature that other players can see, so those players know they are being followed or watched. Additionally, it can also be used as an admin tool for server owners if this mode is entered into by a server administrator while the default game mode is on for other players.
