How to change Castle Damage in V Rising

In this article, we will be changing the settings to turn on or off your Castle or Castle Heart Damage in V Rising.

Go onto your TCAdmin panel, which you can find here.

Fully stop your server and wait for it to be offline before modifying files.

Click on the Config Editor button on your control panel, and then click on the Text Editor button next to ServerGameSettings.json.

Find the CastleDamageMode setting in the file and change it to one of the following options: Always, Never, or TimeRestricted. The TimeRestricted option will use VSCastle times, found near the bottom of the configuration file.

You can also or instead change how Castle Heart Damage works, by finding the CastleHeartDamageMode setting and changing it to one of the following options: CanBeDestroyedOnlyWhenDecaying, CanBeDestroyedByPlayers, or CanBeSeizedOrDestroyedByPlayers. This determines how and when they can be destroyed or seized.

Then, you can start your server back up with these settings in place.
